Overcoming Temptation: Lessons from Joseph’s Life

Joseph’s story in Genesis 39:1–23 and Luke 16:10–13 teaches us to overcome temptation through faith and integrity. Despite success in Potiphar’s house, Joseph resisted temptation from Potiphar’s wife, showing that temptation is not sin, but indulging is. Though falsely accused and imprisoned, God’s presence sustained him, turning trials into testimony. Luke 16:10–13 emphasizes faithful stewardship of resources like money, which tests our readiness for true spiritual riches—wisdom, faith, and intimacy with God. Joseph’s unwavering trust in God’s vision inspires us to resist temptation, steward resources wisely, and live as witnesses of God’s grace.

Exploring Mars, Embracing God’s Creation: A Pastor’s Reflection on Science, Scripture, and Salvation

As pastor of En-Joy Ministries, I marvel at God’s creation through space exploration, from NASA’s Mars rovers to the Space Shuttle’s legacy. Yet, as a young Earth creationist, I reject carbon dating’s flawed billions-of-years claims, affirming a 6,000–10,000-year-old universe per Genesis. Mars’ Jezero Crater, possibly once a lake, declares God’s glory, not alien life. Humanity, one race from Adam and Eve, is Earth’s focus. I pray Elon Musk, via SpaceX, finds Christ, his influence glorifying the Creator. Let Mars and the cosmos point us to Jesus (Romans 1:20, Psalm 8:9).

Who Are We in God’s Plan? Understanding Lineage, the Jewish People, and Salvation

All humanity descends from Adam, but the Jewish people are uniquely chosen through Abraham’s covenant (Genesis 12:1-3). As Christians, we’re “born again” through faith in Christ (John 3:3), grafted into God’s promise (Romans 11:17), not ethnically Jewish. Salvation comes only through Jesus (John 14:6), rejecting dual-covenant theology. We also reject replacement theology, affirming Israel’s distinct role (Romans 11:29). Modern Israel’s 1948 establishment fulfills prophecy (Ezekiel 36:24). Let’s pray for the Jewish people and share the Gospel, trusting God’s plan to save “all Israel” through Christ (Romans 11:26). Oil’s Not Dino Juice—So Why Fossil Fuels? A Young Earth Take

Oil’s Not Dino Juice—So Why Fossil Fuels? A Young Earth Take What if everything you’ve heard about oil taking millions of years is wrong? Growing up, I pictured oil as squashed dinosaur goo, but that’s a cartoon myth. Oil’s really from ancient sea plankton, not T-Rex. Still, science slaps “fossil fuel” on it, claiming it […]

Did Nephilim Build the Great Pyramids?

The question of whether the Nephilim from Genesis 6 were responsible for building the ancient pyramids is intriguing but speculative. The Nephilim, described as the offspring of “sons of God” and “daughters of men,” are depicted as mighty figures, possibly giants. However, the construction of the pyramids, dating from around 2630 to 2500 BCE, occurs well after the biblical flood, contradicting theories of Nephilim involvement. Mainstream archaeology attributes pyramid building to human ingenuity, supported by labor records and techniques available in the Bronze Age, lacking any evidence of giant builders. Thus, the notion remains a fringe idea without substantial proof.
