Dear friends in Christ and fellow patriots,
In a time when our nation grapples with unprecedented levels of government overreach and moral decay, I feel compelled to speak out from the heart of Scripture. As a pastor dedicated to the truth of God’s Word, I’ve long observed how our federal institutions have strayed far from the principles of justice, stewardship, and righteousness that our Founding Fathers envisioned—a vision rooted in biblical values. Today, in this political commentary, I want to expand on a bold declaration that’s been weighing on my spirit: The IRS owes the American people a COMPLETE and TOTAL REFUND!
Let me explain. Every single penny that hardworking Americans are told they “owe” in taxes should be erased—wiped clean from the ledger. Moreover, most, if not all, of the money we’ve poured into what can only be described as a Governmental Criminal Enterprise—the Racketeering-Induced Criminal Enterprise that is the United States Government—over the past decade must be refunded to the people. This isn’t hyperbole; it’s a cry for justice against a system bloated with waste, fraud, and unchecked power.
But we can’t stop at refunds. All non-essential federal agencies should be abolished immediately. Starting with the IRS, ATF, EPA, FBI, CIA, DEA, DHS, CDC, NRC, SEC, and NSA—these entities have become symbols of tyranny, infringing on our God-given freedoms while siphoning resources that could better serve families, churches, and communities. And let’s not forget the Federal Reserve (the FED), that unelected private cartel manipulating our currency, fueling inflation, and enslaving generations to debt. It, too, must be dismantled if we’re to reclaim economic sovereignty under God’s principles of honest weights and measures (Proverbs 11:1).
Now, you might wonder: As a pastor, why am I delving into politics? Because the Bible doesn’t separate faith from the public square. Scripture is replete with warnings about corrupt leaders, judges, and kingdoms—and it calls believers to action. Let’s turn to God’s Word for wisdom and conviction.
Biblical Narratives of Corruption and Divine Judgment
Throughout the Old Testament, we see God’s righteous anger toward corrupt rulers who exploit their people. Consider the prophets’ indictments:
In Micah 3:9-11 (ESV), the prophet declares: “Hear this, you heads of the house of Jacob and rulers of the house of Israel, who detest justice and make crooked all that is straight, who build Zion with blood and Jerusalem with iniquity. Its heads give judgment for a bribe; its priests teach for a price; its prophets practice divination for money.” Here, Micah exposes leaders who pervert justice for personal gain—much like modern bureaucrats and politicians who weaponize agencies against citizens while enriching themselves.
Amos 5:12 (ESV) echoes this: “For I know how many are your transgressions and how great are your sins—you who afflict the righteous, who take a bribe, and turn aside the needy in the gate.” Amos railed against Israel’s elite for oppressing the poor through unjust systems, leading to the nation’s downfall. Sound familiar? Our own government’s fraudulent spending and selective enforcement mirror this ancient wickedness.
The fall of corrupt kingdoms is a recurring theme. In 2 Kings 17, the northern kingdom of Israel is destroyed and exiled because its kings and people “did what was evil in the sight of the Lord” (v. 2), embracing idolatry, injustice, and moral compromise. Similarly, Judah’s kings, like Manasseh, led the nation into abomination, resulting in Babylonian captivity (2 Kings 21). These narratives aren’t just history—they’re divine warnings: Nations that tolerate corruption invite judgment.
Even in the New Testament, Jesus Himself confronted corrupt authorities. In Matthew 23, He denounced the Pharisees and scribes—religious and political leaders—as hypocrites who “devour widows’ houses” (v. 14) while appearing pious. And let’s not forget Pontius Pilate, the Roman governor who, despite knowing Jesus was innocent, caved to political pressure and condemned Him to death (John 19:4-16). Corruption in high places isn’t new; it’s a timeless evil that God despises.
The Christian’s Responsibility: No More Turning a Blind Eye
As followers of Christ, we cannot afford to be passive spectators. The Bible commands us to expose darkness and fight for righteousness. Ephesians 5:11 (ESV) urges: “Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.” Turning a blind eye to government fraud, moral erosion, and the erosion of freedoms is not an option—it’s complicity.
We must have the courage to stand, as Joshua did when God commanded: Joshua 1:9 (ESV)—”Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” This isn’t a call to violence but to bold, prayerful action: speaking truth, voting with conviction, holding leaders accountable, and demanding reforms that align with godly principles.
Remember Proverbs 24:11-12 (ESV): “Rescue those who are being taken away to death; hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter. If you say, ‘Behold, we did not know this,’ does not he who weighs the heart perceive it?” God sees our inaction and holds us responsible. In America, where we’ve seen agencies target citizens, manipulate elections, and promote agendas contrary to Scripture (like those undermining family and life), we must rise up.
Our ultimate goal? To return our country to its godly roots—a nation under God, where morality is restored, and politicians are held accountable to biblical standards of justice and integrity. As 2 Chronicles 7:14 (ESV) promises: “If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” This is our blueprint: National repentance starts with the Church leading the way.
A Call to Action: Restore, Refund, and Repent
Friends, the time for refunds is now—not just financial, but spiritual. Demand accountability from Washington. Support efforts to abolish these oppressive agencies and end the Fed’s stranglehold. But above all, let us pray fervently, live righteously, and work tirelessly to make America a beacon of godly governance once more.
If this resonates with you, join me in prayer: Heavenly Father, expose the corruption in our land, give us courage to fight for justice, and heal our nation as we turn back to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
