As the pastor of En-Joy Ministries, I am filled with wonder at the majesty of our Creator God, whose divine handiwork is evident throughout the universe. As Romans 1:20 declares, “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.” When we follow the path of science with open hearts, it leads us straight to the Creator, revealing His purposeful intelligence in four profound areas: the order of the universe, its beginning, its fine-tuning for life, and the origin of life itself. These truths testify to God’s glory and invite us to worship Him.

The order of the universe displays a breathtaking precision that reflects God’s intentional design. From the predictable paths of planets to the delicate balance of forces governing atoms, the universe operates under mathematical laws so exact that they defy random chance. Psalm 19:1 reminds us, “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” This harmony in creation—seen in constants like gravity and light—points to our Creator, who wove this intricate tapestry to showcase His wisdom. Science reveals this order, and in doing so, it leads us to the One who set every star in its place.

The beginning of the universe further proclaims God’s sovereign power. Science shows us that the universe burst into existence from an infinitesimal point, with every detail perfectly aligned to allow for galaxies, stars, and life. Genesis 1:1 affirms, “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” The precise conditions required—such as the balance of matter and energy—point to a purposeful act of creation. Science may describe this moment, but it cannot explain why it happened or what caused it, for nothing physical existed before. Following this scientific truth leads us to God, who spoke the cosmos into being. Likewise, the fine-tuning of the universe for life echoes His care. Life on Earth depends on an astonishing alignment of factors—Earth’s perfect distance from the sun, the presence of water, the strength of forces—all so precise that chance alone cannot account for it. As Isaiah 45:18 says, God “formed the earth… to be inhabited.” Science’s discovery of this fine-tuning guides us to the Creator’s purposeful design.

Finally, the origin of life and the complexity of cells stand as powerful testaments to God’s creative genius. The leap from lifeless matter to living organisms remains a mystery to science, and the human cell, with its intricate systems like DNA and protein synthesis, is a marvel of complexity. Such sophistication, resembling a microscopic city, could not arise by happenstance. Job 12:10 reminds us, “In his hand is the life of every creature.” When we follow the science of life’s complexity, it points unmistakably to God, who breathed life into being. These four evidences—order, beginning, fine-tuning, and life’s complexity—call us to worship the Creator. May we, as Romans 1:20 urges, see His eternal power in creation, follow the path of science to His truth, and share this joy with hearts full of praise for His divine plan.
