Dear Friends and Family of Enjoy Ministries,
As I walked through our freshly cut field this week, the promise of a fruitful hay harvest stirred my heart with gratitude. The golden stalks, swaying in the breeze, reflect God’s faithful provision for our livestock, egg production, and the sizable garden we tend to share with those in need. Here at Enjoy Ministries, we are called to be stewards of both the land and the Gospel. Today, I invite you to join me in a prayer for this year’s growing season and the eternal harvest of souls for God’s Kingdom, rooted in the truth of His Word.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with thankful hearts, marveling at Your creation. You are the Master Gardener, the One who sends “the early and latter rain” to nourish the earth (Joel 2:23, KJV). We lift up this year’s harvest—our fields of hay, our garden’s bounty, and the livestock entrusted to our care. Lord, bless this land with Your timely rains and warm sunlight, as You promised in Deuteronomy 11:14: “I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil.” Protect our crops from pests and storms, and let our efforts yield an abundant harvest to nourish our community and those we serve.
As we pray for a fruitful growing season, we also seek a greater harvest—the harvest of souls for Your Kingdom. In Matthew 9:37-38, Jesus said, “The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” Lord, just as we sow seeds in the earth, we sow Your Word in the hearts of those around us. Open hearts to receive Your love, grace, and truth. Let our ministry be a beacon of Your light, drawing the lost to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, as You promised in Psalm 126:6: “He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.”
The story of Ruth and Boaz reminds us of Your provision in the harvest. Ruth gleaned in the fields, trusting in Your care, and You provided not only grain but also redemption and a future (Ruth 2:2-3). Likewise, we trust You to provide for our physical and spiritual harvests. As we tend our garden and livestock, let us also tend to the spiritual needs of those around us. Fill us with Your Spirit, guide our hands, and direct our steps. May this season be one of growth, both in the earth and in Your Kingdom, as we trust in Your perfect provision.
We thank You, Lord, for the privilege of serving You through Enjoy Ministries. As we anticipate a season of abundance, we hold fast to Your promise in Isaiah 55:10-11: “For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void.” May Your Word bear fruit in our fields and in the hearts of those we reach.
In Jesus’ holy name, we pray, Amen.
Friends, as we look forward to a bountiful harvest, we invite you to partner with us in prayer and service. Stay tuned for updates from our fields and garden, and join us in sharing God’s love with our community. I’ll be sharing photos of our field and hay soon—tangible signs of God’s faithfulness in the land we steward.
