Dear Mothers,

On this special Mother’s Day, En-Joy Ministries honors you—our cherished mothers, grandmothers, sisters, and daughters—who reflect the heart of God through your love, sacrifice, and unwavering faith. As a pastoral team rooted in Biblical truth, we celebrate you with a message inspired by the life of Hannah, a mother whose prayers changed a nation.

In 1 Samuel 1, we meet Hannah, a woman burdened with a deep longing for a child. Her fervent prayers were not just personal; they aligned with God’s divine purpose. Through her intense intercession, Hannah entrusted her heart’s desires to God, and He answered, blessing her with Samuel, a prophet who led Israel. Hannah’s story reminds us of a powerful truth: your voice matters to God. As mothers, your prayers, burdens, and cries carry eternal weight, shaping not only your families but also God’s Kingdom.

Drawing from Hannah’s example, we see three key truths for every mother:

• Entrust Your Longings to God: Like Hannah, you pour out your heart for your children, families, and communities. God hears every prayer, and He is faithful to answer (Jeremiah 33:3).
• Your Burdens Align with God’s Heart: The burdens you carry—whether for your children’s futures, your home, or the world—are often God-given. As you pray, you partner with Him to bring about His will (Colossians 4:12).
• Your Call is Sacred: The Hebrew word qara (to call out) reflects the conviction and purpose in Hannah’s prayers. Your role as a mother is a divine calling, a proclamation of love and faith that echoes through generations.

Mothers, your selfless love mirrors Christ’s command in Matthew 22:37-39 to love God and love others. Your sacrifices, like Hannah’s, are acts of spiritual warfare, breaking strongholds and releasing God’s peace. As you take up your cross daily (Luke 9:23), the Holy Spirit fills you with passion, conviction, and faith, enabling you to raise children, build homes, and impact nations.

This Mother’s Day, we encourage you to seek the deeper burdens God has placed on your heart. As our pastor shared with his daughters, “Peel back the layers of your ‘self’ through prayer and the Word to discover what you are called to do.” Your prayers are powerful, your love is transformative, and your faith moves mountains.
