How do we receive salvation? We are saved by faith. First, we must hear the gospel—the good news of Jesus’ death and resurrection (Ephesians 1:13). Then, we must believe—fully trust the Lord Jesus (Romans 1:16). This involves repentance, a changing of mind about sin and Christ (Acts 3:19) and calling on the name of the Lord (Romans 10:9-10, 13).
This is teaching on the New Creation; the new life and new man, which refers to the spiritual rebirth through Christ Jesus. Why, because one must be born-again, saved to gain a deep understanding of God’s Word. Because the role of the Holy Spirit in interpreting, using, and applying scripture is huge.
1 John 5:1 “Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him.”
In this verse, the Apostle John is saying that you are born of God. He said whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ, he is born of God. Now when he says born of God, he means coming from God. He is saying that you were born out of God. He is saying you were born having God’s genes in you. When John says you are born of God, it is hard to explain unless you know exactly what he means. It means that you are in God’s bloodline. It means God is your ancestor. Hallelujah!
1st Thessalonians 5:23 Says that God wants to sanctify you wholly, your whole spirit, soul, and body. Your spirit is the real you, it is the part that must be born-again, but God wants you totally sanctified spirit, soul, AND body. That includes divine healing for your physical body.
(John 3) Jesus said that you must be born again. One translation says that you must be born from above. Another translation reads that you must be fathered from above. When you were born again, you changed fathers.
Just think about your physical/earthy fathers, maybe a family history of heart disease or diabetes. Someone might say you will get diabetes because it runs in your family. But we can say, no, I have changed fathers, it does not run in my Father’s genes! We are born of almighty God. We are born coming from God. Your spirit came directly out of the womb of almighty God.
When we talk about coming from God or being of God, we are saying the same thing that happened to the Lord Jesus Christ, He came from God. When you are born of God, healing is inherent in your spirit.
In Acts 17:29 it says that we are offsprings of God. The word offspring is the Greek word genos (Strongs #1085), meaning genes. It simply means born after the same kind. Like when you plant corn, you produce corn. When the seed of God came into you, at the new birth, God reproduced Himself in you.
You are born coming from God. You are born made of God.
Eph. 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. You were created out of Christ Jesus. You were created to be exactly like Jesus, no difference.
Rom. 8:29 says that God planned that you would be predestined to be conformed to the exact image of the Lord Jesus Christ, that He might be the firstborn, firstborn of many family members.
When God created you, you are God’s work of art. You are God’s masterpiece; He could not make you any better than you are. God poured you into the mold of the Lord Jesus Christ and when you came out, you looked exactly like Him!
What if your daddy was the King of England or the King of the USA? Your daddy is the king of the universe.
God makes a forceful ownership statement in Psalm 50:10-12. He states emphatically, “For all the animals of the forest are mine, and I own the cattle on a thousand hills” I know all the birds of the mountains, And the wild beasts of the field are Mine. “If I were hungry, I would not tell you; For the world is mine and all its fullness.
God owns everything and you are heir apparent to it. An heir apparent is a person who is first in line to inherit something and cannot be displaced. The term can refer to inheritors of royal or noble titles, as well as inheritors of private property. An heir apparent’s right to inherit is indefeasible. The term heir apparent can also mean a person whose succession to a position is certain.
He said it is His pleasure to give you His good kingdom. Luke 12:32.”Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. The verse means that God is your Father, and your Father’s great joy is to give you, His kingdom.
You are the very sons and daughters of God just as much as Jesus Christ is a son of God.
Rom. 8:17 “And if children, then heirs––heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.”
The Greek definition for “joint heirs” is 1) a fellow heir, 2)one who obtains something assigned to himself with others, a joint participant.
John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name
If you receive Jesus, you will become a son of God!
When you receive Jesus Christ, there is a miracle that happens in your being.
I do not care what it is you need God, whatever kind of healing, Jehovah-Rapha comes and lives on the inside of you.
If we only knew what was in us! We would never worry about anything. No sickness, disease, money, etc.
I have inherited, from my Father, whatever He has.
Jehovah-Rapha” is a Hebrew name for God in the Old Testament that means “The Lord Who Heals”. The name appears for the first time in the Bible in Exodus 15:26
the God who heals
While there are things we can fix, so much of it is better left to God, Jehovah Rapha (Rophe) – the God who heals. “Heal” is how the Hebrew word “Rapha” is usually translated in Scripture, but the heart of the meaning of the word is “to mend, repair, or restore something to its normal or useful state”
Look at 1 John 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world––our faith.
(NET Translation) because everyone who has been fathered by God conquers the world. This is the conquering power that has conquered the world: our faith.
(NLT) Every child of God defeats this evil world by trusting Christ to give them victory.
I have also heard it translated: For God’s heredity within us will always conquer the world outside us.
The heredity, what you have inherited from almighty God, it is His life, His nature, and His ability.
Say this: I have His life, His nature, and His ability.
1-John 5:18 We know that whoever is born of God does not sin, but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.
Born of God!
It could be said this way that “Divine origin protects him and the evil one cannot touch him”
Do you know where your origin is? Where did you originate? Over at some hospital, NO! Heaven! God, I came from God. I am born of God. I originated with God. I am born out of God.
If you knew exactly what your Father has and what He has placed within you, you would walk in victory every day of your life.
1 John 3:9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.
Did you hear that? His seed remains in him.
As you begin to understand that you are just not an old, saved sinner and that all you have is that you get to go to heaven after you die. That is not all!
Christianity is Jesus living on the inside of you! Born of almighty God. Born of almightiness,
Prayer becomes a victory. Faith becomes simple, not Convoluted, complicated, or difficult to understand.
When you know that you have your father’s genes in you, faith is a simple thing. Hebrews 11:1 – “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”
Turn to Galatians 5:22 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,”
You have God’s love on the inside of you. The God kind of love. Also, the fruit of the Spirit is faith. You become born again; you receive the God kind of faith.
Meaning: 1) Conviction of Truth, belief; in the NT of a conviction or belief respecting man’s relationship to God and divine things, generally with the included idea of trust and holy fervor-passion or enthusiasm born of faith and joined with it.
You received a measure of the kind of faith that created the world.
Jesus said: in Mark 11:23 “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
It is impossible for you to doubt in your heart; you have God’s faith in your heart. You are a believer! God’s nature is a faith nature.
Faithfulness is an essential part of God’s character in the Bible. The word emet, which means “faithfulness” or “truth”, is used throughout the Bible to describe God.
It means that God is faithful and trustworthy. This is why Moses calls God “a rock,” saying that he is faithful, just, and upright. He’s saying that he can trust God to be consistent with his character. And the Hebrew word for trust is the verb form of the word emet.
So, faith is not a problem with people that are born again. They have plenty of faith, but they need to know how to use it.
I think that we can safely assume that most Christians do not know how to use what they have. Because they do not know what they have.
If you had millions in the bank but did not know it was in the bank, it would do you no good. If you had millions in the bank and didn’t know how to get it out, it still would do you no good.
So, we need to know this: We have the faith of Almighty God.
All things are possible unto you because you are full of faith. Because you are full of faith.
We need to know how to use that faith, the way we use our faith is simply this: Find whatever Word covers your situation, and when you find the Word that fits your situation, then, then you begin to think about it and meditate on that Word, then you put that word in your mouth.
Then you begin to act accordingly. Find the Word, put it in your mouth, and then act upon it.
Confessing God’s Word can prepare paths of safety, success, and health for you and your children. And you can lay the groundwork for God to have His way in your life and your children’s lives – all by confessing the Word of God. Learn to confess the Word of God! When tests and trials come, you are prepared and equipped to gain victory.
Begin to change your confessions during your daily Bible reading. As you read the Scriptures each day, notice the quickening in your heart. You may be reading something in Ps. Or Prov. And it says exactly what you believe about a particular subject. That quickening, or heightened interest in a Scripture, is the Holy Spirit giving you something He desires for you.
Let me suggest keeping a prayer journal handy and marking these Scriptures, adding them to your prayer and confession list.
You can always find out whether you are in faith or not.
Is the Word of God, my final answer?
It does not matter what the problem is if you have the answer.
God says that He has made us in the exact image of the Lord Jesus Christ. Equipped with the equipment of almighty God.
In John 14:12, Jesus said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father”.
In this verse, Jesus links the works of his followers with his return to heaven. He says that his absence is the cause of their greater works.
You must have the same equipment, or you cannot do the same work.
We have the supernatural power of God available to us right now.
Live boldly with absolute Christian Certainty. Prominent in 1 John is the positive note of Christian certainty. I repeat: CHRISTIAN CERTAINTY. Thirty-nine times the verb “know” occurs. You know whether you indeed are a child of God. You know, with absolute certainty, where and with whom you will spend eternity. Let me be blunt, or rather straightforward. A professing Christian who says “I hope I am going to heaven” does not align with scripture. Christian truth is beyond the realm of speculation because it is conclusively secured to the historical event of Jesus Christ and the apostolic witness to that event. In addition, Christians possess the anointing and witness of the Holy Spirit to assure them of the truth about God, Christ, and their own spiritual standing.
